Tottenham 'put contract talks with high-earning stars Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min on hold' because of the financial uncertainty coronavirus has caused - despite pair having interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City

Tottenham have reportedly shelved contract talks with Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min until they have a clearer picture of their financial position amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The club's revenues have been decimated by the pandemic and they have now deiced to hold off renewal negotiations with Kane and Son, who are two of their highest-earners.

Jose Mourinho said last month that it is impossible for clubs to tie down their star players while there is so much uncertainty but Spurs are hopeful of agreeing new deals for both Kane and Son once their finances become more secure.
