Torino president Urbano Cairo has told La Gazzetta dello Sport he expects forward Andrea Belotti, who has scored 25 goals in 31 Serie A appearances this season, to stay.
His comments came after sources told ESPN FC that Manchester United had contacted Torino to register their interest in Belotti.
United manager Jose Mourinho wants to add two forwards to his squad this summer, with Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann his priority target.
But Mourinho is also considering a move for Belotti, 23, who has scored 27 goals in 34 appearances for Torino this season.
