According to a report from SportBild, RB Leipzig want to sign Angelino on a permanent basis but cannot afford his €22 million (£19.4 million) price tag – prompting some Man City supporters to go wild over the news on Twitter.
Angelino re-signed for the Sky Blues from PSV Eindhoven last summer after we originally let him depart Eastlands, but according to this report, he may well be on the move again if Leipzig can find a way around his £19.4m valuation.
Before heading out to the Bundesliga side on loan, Angelino started just four Premier League games for us, with both Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko seemingly preferred in the left-back role under Pep Guardiola.
