Sergio Aguero gave a speech to thank his team-mates during an after-match celebration in the Manchester City dressing-room following his record-breaking 178th goal for the club in Naples.
Aguero scored his landmark goal in the Stadio San Paolo to break Eric Brook’s 78-year-old record and help City into the last 16 of the Champions League with an excellent 4-2 win over Napoli.
The Argentina star has set his sights on scoring 200 goals for City, and defender Danilo revealed that Aguero addressed the other players after the game.
‘We are all very happy for him,’ said the Brazil defender.
