Manchester City's record goalscorer Sergio Aguero has confirmed the club's statue in his honour will be unveiled in May - a decade on from his famous last-minute winner.
The Premier League giants revealed they would erect a statue at the Etihad Stadium as a tribute to their greatest-ever striker when they confirmed his departure last March.
And now Aguero has revealed the work will be completed in three months' time, telling TYC Sports: 'The statue in Manchester City would be ready in May.'
That month will mark 10 years since the Argentine struck the dramatic last-minute winner against QPR to win City their first league title since 1968 on the final day of his debut season in England.
