Sergio Aguero faces another spell on the sidelines as Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola confirms he was taken off with a hamstring issue in West Ham draw in his third match back after recovering from a knee injury

Sergio Aguero faces another spell on the sidelines after Pep Guardiola confirmed he picked up a hamstring injury in Manchester City's 1-1 draw with West Ham.

The 32-year-old has only recently come back into the team after a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.

However the Argentine striker struggled during the first-half of their game against the Hammers, and was replaced by Phil Foden at half-time.

Guardiola gave a spiky interview with BT Sport after the game where when asked why he took Aguero off he said it was an injury and not the same issue as last time with his knee.
