MIAMI -- Pep Guardiola is unsure whether Manchester City record signing Riyad Mahrez will be fit for the Community Shield after limping out of the International Champions Cup victory over Bayern Munich.
The Algerian winger, a £60 million summer signing from Leicester City, hurt his ankle in an early challenge from United States defender Chris Richards and left the pitch in the 26th minute.
His injury is a blow with 14 of City's World Cup players still to return to training, although Guardiola was impressed with his young players who fought back from two goals to beat the Bundesliga champions 3-2 on the night.
