Rio Ferdinand could not hide his excitement for Vinicius Jr as the Brazilian opened the scoring in Real Madrid's Champions League clash with Manchester City.
The 22-year-old's thunderbolt from the edge of City's box, just after the half hour mark, lit up the semi-final tie after a cagey first thirty minutes between the two sides.
Vinicius Jr's strike was too powerful for Ederson in the Manchester City goal and it provoked an outpouring of emotion from the BT Studio, where Ferdinand was watching alongside Michael Owen, Joleon Lescott and presenter Jake Humphrey.
