Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester City can 'hold their heads high' after drawing with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, but insists that Carlo Ancelotti's side will have NO fear for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final clash next week

Rio Ferdinand believes that Manchester City can hold their heads high after drawing 1-1 away to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Real took the lead in the 36th minute through a superb strike from Vinicius Junior but City levelled as Kevin De Bruyne found the net in the 67th minute.

The result leaves the tie finely poised going into next week's second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite City's display in the first leg, Ferdinand stressed that Real Madrid won't have any worries ahead of the second leg, given their rich history in the competition.
