Manchester City are undertaking feasibility studies on further expanding the Etihad Stadium to over 60,000.
City have plans in place to develop the North Stand and are exploring the possibility of building an on-site hotel.
As part of the project, the Premier League champions are also working towards increasing the size of their fan zone for supporters, with a new club shop and a museum also mooted.

City said the feasibility studies, which invite local residents to offer thoughts on the plans, is to ‘develop a best-in-class fan experience and a year-round entertainment and leisure destination at the Etihad’.
