Benjamin Mendy has been ousted as Manchester City’s first-choice left-back this season and James Ducker of The Telegraph say City ‘would sell’ Mendy this summer but are struggling to find suitors to due to his ‘fitness troubles’ and lofty ‘wages’.
The 26-year-old joined City from AS Monaco in 2017 and has gone on to make only 67 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal with 11 assists. He’s averaged only 17 appearances a year at the Etihad Stadium and has started just 39 league games from a possible 144 due to fitness woes (Transfermarkt).
