Kevin De Bruyne rejected a new contract in January after getting annoyed with Manchester City’s slow negotiations, but Paul Hirst of The Times says the 29-year-old has been ‘offered’ a new deal that could land him a ‘rise in salary’ from £310k-per-week.

De Bruyne has two years remaining on his deal at the Etihad Stadium but could be signing a new contract that keeps him in Manchester beyond 2023. The Times say the Sky Blues’ latest offer should be more acceptable.
