Report: Club need part-ex to ‘reduce costs’ in ‘complicated’ transfer with Man City, player ‘can leave’

Raheem Sterling has an uncertain future at Manchester City after a disappointing campaign. The 26-year-old scored 14 goals and made 12 assists in 49 games, but his form fell apart during the tail end of the season and Matteo Moretto of Sky Sports believes he ‘can leave’ this summer.

Barcelona are reportedly keen on his signature, but any deal with be ‘complicated’ due to their spiralling financial situation. The Catalan giants need to ‘reduce costs’ by including players as a part-exchange, so it remains to be seen if City entertain such a bid.
