Real Madrid could turn their attention to Erling Haaland should their attempt to lure Kylian Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu fail, with the Norwegian deemed as 'affordable'.

The French superstar is officially free to negotiate with foreign clubs as of January 1 as he enters the final six months of his PSG deal.

And reports in France on Sunday night indicated Mbappe had agreed to join Real next season, just over 18 months after rejecting a move to LaLiga in favour to remain at the Parc des Princes.
