Real Madrid are in talks to sign Flamengo midfielder Reinier this month, according to ESPN.
Barcelona and Manchester City are also thought to be tracking the 17-year-old Brazil youth international who was an unused substitute in the Club World Cup final defeat by Liverpool.
And Barca have reportedly scouted the player on multiple occasions but believe Flamengo's valuation of the player is too high.
It is believed Reinier is considering his options and it seems the Brazilian club are resigned to losing the star this month, with manager Jorge Jesus suggesting he is poised for a move to Europe.
