Raul Jimenez is sent off after picking up two yellow cards in the space of just 48 SECONDS as Wolves striker fouls Rodri before obstructing the resulting Man City free-kick from being taken

Wolves forward Raul Jimenez was sent off after receiving two bookings just 48 seconds apart in one of the most needless red cards in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old was shown his first yellow card for fouling Manchester City midfielder Rodri in first-half stoppage time.

Jimenez was visibly unhappy at referee Jonathan Moss's decision to brandish a yellow card and just 48 seconds later he was given his marching orders.

The striker did not move far away from the resulting City set-piece and then obstructed the delivery, forcing Moss to return to his pocket and send him off.
