Rio Ferdinand and Jamie Carragher appear to have put any beef in the fallout of Manchester United's 7-0 defeat to Liverpool to bed after the pair appeared to share a joke on the Etihad pitch on Tuesday evening.
Former United defender Ferdinand was annoyed at the way that Carragher and Graeme Souness had celebrated Liverpool's huge victory over Erik ten Hag's side at Anfield.
Ferdinand later posted on his Twitter profile that his comments were 'tongue-in-cheek' and encouraged Liverpool fans to stop getting so 'angry'.
It appears that Carragher had no ill feeling to the 44-year-old as the duo took part in some light-hearted banter while working for rival broadcaster's prior to Man City's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.
