Phil Foden labels Elland Road as a 'SCARY' but 'special stadium' ahead of Man City's visit to Leeds on December 28 - with forward relishing to play in that atmosphere again... even though fans 'threw paper' at him last season

Manchester City and England forward has praised the atmosphere at Elland Road - saying he enjoys the occasions of supporters 'feeling on top of you'.

Foden, 22, experienced a packed and ferocious Elland Road for the first time last season when Manchester City travelled to Leeds. Their first year back in the top flight had been been blighted by Covid restrictions prohibiting supporters from attending.

The forward recorded two assists and generally played superbly as Manchester City ran out 4-0 winners - though they were still subject to the typically brash and vociferous LS11 atmosphere.
