Pep Guardiola wants to take former Barcelona defender Dani Alves to Manchester City, sources have told ESPN FC.
Alves, 34, is in the final year of a two-year contract with Juventus and could be available for as little as £5 million.
City are without a senior recognised right-back after releasing Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy at the end of the their contracts.
They have been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker and ESPN FC has been told that a deal for Alves does not necessarily end their interest in the England international.
