Manchester City – still coming to terms with their first Premier League defeat of the season – have been dealt another blow via injury to David Silva.
The brilliant Spaniard was substituted during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat by Chelsea and Pep Guardiola revealed he may be out for weeks.
Silva was replaced by Ilkay Gundogan in the 68th-minute of the Stamford Bridge clash, after falling to the turf and clutching the back of his leg.
He is one of a number of players who will miss Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Hoffenheim at the Etihad Stadium, with Guardiola claiming he only has 15 players to choose from.
