Pep Guardiola has refused to rule out a big-money move for Moussa Dembele after branding the Celtic striker ‘exceptional’.
The Manchester City manager watched the French striker score twice in the 3-3 Champions League draw between the teams in September at Parkhead.
The 20-year-old has now netted 17 goals in Celtic colours and caught the eye of Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG and big-spending German club RB Leipzig by scoring twice for the French Under-21 team against England recently.
And, speaking ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League dead rubber at the Etihad, Guardiola declined to dismiss a £30million move out of hand, saying: ‘If you read the newspapers in the last six months, since I became a coach at Manchester City, maybe I have had contact with 126 players to buy them for Manchester City.
