Pep Guardiola vowed that Manchester City will not stand still in the transfer market despite a raft of new long-term contracts handed out this season.
Joao Cancelo became the latest first-team star to pen fresh terms this week, with 12 of the squad now tied down until at least 2025.
But City, who want to land Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland and are evaluating potential left backs ahead of the summer, will continue to invest.
'I don't know what is going to happen but the soul and the heart of the team is still young,' Guardiola said.
