Pep Guardiola revealed that midfielder Kalvin Phillips is not yet up to speed with Manchester City’s system as the manager ponders how much to rotate for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final.

Exhaustion prevented City from celebrating in the Bayern Munich dressing room after progressing from the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday, with several key players — including Rodri — seemingly in need of a breather.

Phillips, Rodri’s understudy, has started just twice since a £42million switch from Leeds United last summer. Guardiola has lost four FA Cup semi-finals during his tenure before facing Sheffield United at Wembley.
