Patrick Roberts will be allowed to impress Pep Guardiola after Manchester City gave him the green light to face them in the Champions League.
Celtic have been drawn in Group C alongside the Premier League club, Borussia Monchengladbach and Guardiola will return to former side Barcelona.
Winger Roberts joined Celtic on a 18-month loan deal in January in search of first-team football, after making only three first-team appearances for City and Sporting Director Txiki Bergiristain revealed the 19-year-old would play against his parent club.
