League One outfit Oxford United have a home tie in this year’s third round against last season’s Carabao Cup winners Manchester City. The date has not been rubberstamped as the respective TV companies need to decide which games they want to broadcast live. However, what we do know is that the match will take place during the week commencing September 24.
U’s head coach Karl Robinson told their official website…
“It’s a great draw for the fans. It’s probably the biggest draw you could get, and I’m sure the interest is going to be huge. I’m really pleased for Tiger and the whole club, and it will be a fantastic occasion which we are all looking forward to.
