Nottingham Forest have turned down multiple loan offers for United States international goalkeeper Matt Turner, with the Premier League club preferring him to exit on a permanent transfer, sources told ESPN.
Turner, 30, has endured a difficult time at Forest since joining them last year on a transfer worth $9 million with add-ons possibly raising the fee to $12.48 million. Turner claimed the starting goalkeeping spot during the first half of the season, but he eventually lost his place in the starting lineup to Matz Sels following a difficult spell in net.
