Noel Gallagher has branded Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold a 'simpleton' after he claimed winning the Premier League title 'means more' to the Merseyside club.
Alexander-Arnold claimed that Liverpool's trophies had more meaning to fans due to the financial situations at both clubs, with City talisman Erling Haaland biting back by saying: 'I won the Treble, I don't think he knows exactly this feeling.'
Defender Ruben Dias also weighed into the debate and said: 'At the end of the day you can only have certain emotions if you actually win stuff.
