Manchester United are confident of signing 600-goal academy striker Charlie McNeill from rivals Manchester City.
The England youth star is set to leave the Etihad Stadium after rejecting a contract offer and United are set to swoop.
McNeill turns 17 in September, requiring the clubs to agree a fee or risk the figure being decided at tribunal. They remain locked in talks but McNeill will command a seven-figure fee given his exploits in the academy teams and his international experience.

City hope to include a number of performance-related clauses but are at a stalemate with their cross-town rivals.
