Manchester United have moved quickly to raid Huddersfield Town's youth ranks after the Premier League newcomers decided to close their academy.
United have invited 15 boys under the age of 16 for trials. Manchester City, Everton and Liverpool are also in the market after Huddersfield confirmed their plans to parents last Friday.
Sportsmail first broke the news that chairman Dean Hoyle was considering closing Huddersfield's academy on September 5.
The Yorkshire club will not be entitled to a compensation fee for any of the players.
