The Manchester derby will now take place on Thursday, April 27 and see fierce rivals United and City come face-to-face under the floodlights at the Ethiad stadium.
The original tie between the two sides had to be rescheduled as a result of United's EFL Cup final clash with Southampton.
The moving of the fixture will allow Pep Guardiola's City side plenty of recovery time following their FA Cup semi-final clash with Arsenal the Sunday prior to the match, though United now face an action-packed April comprising nine games.
City now also have issues of their own, with the fixture calendar pitting them against Premier League strugglers Middlesbrough just two days later; an long distance trip up to Teeside not quite what Guardiola ordered.
