Manchester City had gone 35 years without a major trophy. It was in Yaya Toure’s first season at the club when they finally won one – the FA Cup in 2011.
The final at Wembley was heading for extra time when Toure scored the goal that sunk Stoke in the 74th minute, securing them a 1-0 win and their first silverware since 1976.
It was City's first trophy under Sheikh Mansour and they have won six since, including two Premier League titles. Toure has had a hand in all of their success.
