Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany has graduated with a Masters in Business Administration.
The injury-plagued defender has spent the last four years juggling his football duties and studying part time at the Alliance Manchester Business School.
The Belgian international, who is already planning for life after football, took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to reveal the big news to his 1.3million followers as he posted a photo of himself sitting next to a mortarboard and some academic books.
Speaking after receiving the degree, Kompany dedicated his achievement to his mother: 'Although I want to continue playing football as long as possible, I may look to use this combination of academic learning and years of playing experience in the future.
