Manchester City win the Carabao Cup for the FOURTH time in a row as Aymeric Laporte's late header finally breaks the deadlock against stubborn Spurs in front of small crowd at Wembley

Aymeric Laporte scored a late header to earn Pep Guardiola's Manchester City a fourth straight Carabao Cup triumph via a 1-0 victory over Tottenham at Wembley.

Laporte, who could have been sent off in the first-half for two professional fouls, headed home Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick on 82 minutes to spark delirium for the 2,000 Manchester City fans attending the match.

Guardiola's side dominated the possession and chances at in front of the 8,000 fans overall at Wembley, with Phil Foden hitting the post in the first-half.
