Manchester City will leave for a five-day trip to Abu Dhabi immediately after Monday night's game at Stoke as manager Pep Guardiola eyes a season-ending treble.
City will fly through the night to arrive in the Gulf to 28°C temperatures on Tuesday morning. They will stay until Saturday — when some of their Premier League rivals will be involved in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The City manager believes a warm-weather break at this stage, as well as the chance to meet owner Sheikh Mansour and engage in some goodwill events, could be key to them wrapping up the Premier League title quickly and then concentrating on winning their first Champions League to go with the Carabao Cup already in the locker.
