Manchester City Under 18s pay tribute to former team-mate Jeremy Wisten by wearing RIP warm up tops adorned with his picture ahead of FA Youth Cup clash after his tragic death

Manchester City's U18s team have paid tribute to the late Jeremy Wisten, a former academy player at the club, after his tragic death.

City's starlets sported touching warm-ups tops emblazoned with a photo of Wisten ahead of their FA Youth Cup clash against Blackburn on Friday.

Wisten was found unresponsive at his family home by paramedics last weekend.

A minute's silence in memory of Wisten was observed at St George's Park before the semi-final cup tie got underway.

A number of the young players who featured in the competition have donated to a crowdfund created to support Wisten's family.
