Manchester City turn down Al Alhi's £18m bid for winger Riyad Mahrez, expecting the Saudi club to improve their offer... while they talk to Kyle Walker amid Bayern Munich interest

Manchester City have turned down a bid of £18m from Al Ahli for Riyad Mahrez and are awaiting an improved offer.

City are also holding talks with Kyle Walker about his future amid Bayern Munich interest and will hold talks over their bid for Red Bull Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol on Tuesday.

Mahrez, 32, has spent five years at Manchester City, but his time at the club looks to be over, after Mail Sport previously reported that he had accepted personal terms with Al Ahli.

Since joining from Leicester City in 2018, Mahrez has made 236 appearances for City scoring 78 goals.
