Manchester City full-back Pablo Zabaleta has emerged as a main target of Italian champions Juventus.
With 32-year-old Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner intent on leaving the club and Dani Alves in need of back-up, Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri has turned his intentions to the 31-year-old Argentina international.
Zabaleta will be available on a free transfer from February 1st, and is now into his ninth season with the Premier League club.
The full-back is a firm favourite at the Etihad but was a peripheral figure under manager Pep Guardiola at the start of the season.
