Manchester City transfer news: Blues flop Nolito must take pay cut to seal Celta Vigo return

Manchester City flop Nolito can return to Celta Vigo this summer - but only if he takes a pay-cut.

That is according to the Spanish club's president, Carlos Mourino, who has been responding to rumours Nolito is set for a comeback.

The forward left Celta last summer for £13.8million after his release-clause was met, but he has struggled at Manchester City.

The 30-year-old has fallen behind Leroy Sane in the pecking order at the Etihad, while the January arrival of Gabriel Jesus has also obstructed his route to the first-team.

Nolito has since been linked with a return to Celta Vigo, but Mourino has revealed that can only happen if he slashes his wages.
