Manchester City are keeping a close eye on Swiss prodigy Breel Embolo.
The 20-year-old moved to Schalke from Basle in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £20million but suffered a serious injury following a nasty foul on October 2 of that year.
Embolo has gone on to impress since recovering from the ankle fracture, medial collateral ligament damage and ruptured syndesmosis.
While he has not scored this campaign, the forward has made five appearances since he managed to put his injury frustrations behind him.
