Manchester City are ready to offer Kevin De Bruyne a new contract to secure his long-term future at the club, sources have told ESPN FC.
De Bruyne, 26, still has almost four years remaining on his current six-year deal, which he signed when he completed a £54 million switch from Wolfsburg in 2015.
However, City want to reward him for his impressive form and ward off any potential suitors from rivals across Europe.
City believe De Bruyne has developed into one of the best midfielders in Europe and the Telegraph has reported that his salary could rise substantially from £115,000 a week to £200,000.
