Manchester City have signed a multi-million pound contract with Tinder after sponsorship talks between the dating app and Manchester United broke down.
Tinder were interested in becoming United’s sleeve sponsor last summer, as revealed in Sportsmail’s Sports Agenda column, but have opted for a general agreement with City instead.
The deal is the latest in City’s growing emergence commercially, with Puma set to pay in the region of £50million-a-year to become their next kit suppliers.
Nike’s existing contract is understood to have a break clause at the end of the season but Puma are primed to take over in 2019.
