Manchester City teenage full back Pablo Maffeo is returning to Spanish club Girona for a second loan spell.
The right back will spend the rest of the season on loan at the Segunda Division club where he made 13 appearances last term.
Maffeo has impressed coach Pep Guardiola with his attitude and three displays in City's first team this season against Manchester United, Steaua Bucharest and Celtic but needs more competitive action.
Maffeo, who has represented Spain at U19 level, joined City in 2013 and has come through the club's academy system.
