Leroy Sane is delighted Manchester City have captured the Premier League title - although he admits is would have been better in different circumstances.
City won the league title with five games remaining after rivals Manchester United lost at home to bottom side West Brom, leaving them 16 points behind their neighbours.
Although Sane would have preferred City to capture the title themselves rather than being handed it by a defeat, he is still thrilled to have won the league in record-equalling time.
He told German news agency SID: 'It's an overwhelming feeling to become champions in the best league of the world that early.
