City's Belgium midfielder has looked nailed on to pick up individual honours from the Professional Footballers' Association and Football Writers' Association as he drives Pep Guardiola's team towards the Premier League title with some incredible football.
But Salah refuses to step away from the contest and his winning goal for Liverpool at Crystal Palace on Saturday took his individual tally to 29 Premier League goals.
