Manchester City set to offload young striker Enes Unal to Villarreal for £12.5m but insist on buy-back option

Manchester City forward Enes Unal has flown to Spain to hold talks with Villarreal ahead of a permanent £12.5million move.

The Turkey international, who spent last season on loan at Twente, is poised to sign for the La Liga side but will be subject to a buy-back option inserted in any contract that is understood to be set at around £17.5million.

City signed Unal, 20, from Bursaspor for £2million in 2015 and he has since been on loan at Genk, NAC Breda and Twente where last season he scored 19 goals in 33 appearances.

Valencia had also shown interest in the talented 20-year-old.
