Manchester City are planning talks with Bernardo Silva to thrash out his future, after the midfielder expressed a desire to leave the Etihad for Spain in each of the last two summers.
Barcelona have shown interest in the 28-year-old but no formal bids came in and City are keen to determine if the Portugal star will again seek to leave the club at the end of this season.
The Premier League champions and manager Pep Guardiola want Silva, who has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, to remain at the club.
