Manchester City predicted XI v Borussia Monchengladbach: Pep Guardiola to ring the changes for Champions League clash

Manchester City begin their sixth successive Champions League campaign on Tuesday night as Borussia Monchengladbach roll into town.

Last season the Citizens made it to the semi-finals before being cast aside by eventual winner Real Madrid in a tight tie, which ended 1-0 on aggregate.

This time, under new boss Pep Guardiola, there will be a real feeling they can make the final of the competition, if all their stars stay fit, but first they need to get past the group stage.

While there were no real injury problems following the Manchester derby, which City won 2-1, Aleksandar Kolarov lost a tooth so could miss out, and Nicolas Otamendi ended the game with a bandaged head, so changes could occur.
