Manchester City’s players aren’t buying into the tactical tinkering of Pep Guardiola, Arsenal favourite Perry Groves has claimed.
The Citizens looked in good shape against Chelsea, going 1-0 up before the break, but collapsed, losing 3-1 at the final whistle.
And Groves, who won the First Division title with the Gunners back in 1989 and 1991, believes that, while Guardiola is known for his tactical nous, studious attitude and meticulous thinking, his players aren’t responding in the same manner as his former charges across Europe.
