Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure signs new one-year deal with club

Yaya Toure has agreed a new one-year deal to stay with Manchester City.

The Ivorian was out of contract this summer having been with club since signing from Barcelona in 2010.

Toure, who turned 34 last month, recently admitted he would like to finish his career at the Etihad.

‘I want to go on until the end and the best way is going to be stopping football with City,' he said. 'That would be the best way for me. To be honest, to see me in another shirt would be quite difficult.’

More to follow.
