Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan appears to be making good progress after surgery on his knee, according to pictures posted on his social media.
Turkey international Gundogan suffered the season ending injury in City's Premier League game against Watford before Christmas, hurting the kneecap which was injured when he first arrived at the Etihad for £20million last summer.
It was a major blow for Pep Guardiola's team, but they will be encouraged by Gundogan going through exercises with relative ease and no protection on his knee.
Gundogan is in Abu Dhabi with the rest of the Manchester City team, who are taking advantage of having no Premier League game this weekend to do some training in winter sunshine.
